They all exhibit a luminous, silvery-blue schiller that floats across the surface when they catch the light.   \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe mystifying moonstone derives its name from the stone’s ethereal, luminescent light that was once believed to be moonlight in solid form.
