The end of World War 1 brought many changes in our social structure and a new class of wealthy people emerged whom had profited from the war and now had the money to purchase luxury jewelry. Art Deco, named after the 1925 Paris Exposition des Arts Decoratifs et Industriels Modernes, represents the style of the decorative arts popular between the two wars.
